Jack Uldrich, Agriculture Futurist

Following a highly celebrated keynote yesterday in Washington DC to top luminaries, global business decision makers, and public policy mavens, Global Futurist  Jack Uldrich will deliver a presentation on "The Future of Agriculture" to KFSA one of the largest insurance agencies in the state of Kansas.

Uldrich specializes in delivering authoritative speeches on future trends, emerging technologies, innovation, change management and leadership both nationally and internationally.

Unlearning and growth stem directly from challenging long-held assumptions. If leaders in the industry take these challenges on, this the whole paradigm of insurance is bound to change.

When asked what his primary message for his audience at KFSA will be, Uldrich replied, "Insurance companies dealing with agriculture need not only to stay on top of the current trends in the field, but they must also learn to ask better questions. Additionally, they will need to assimilate different ideas and open themselves to viewing the world from a different perspective. Unlearning and growth stem directly from challenging long-held assumptions. If leaders in the industry take these challenges on, this the whole paradigm of insurance is bound to change."

Uldrich says one of the biggest game-changers in agriculture is Artificial Intelligence. He says the most famous AI – IBM’s Watson – has even devoted some of its computing power towards predictive analytics in the agricultural sector

“AI can and will help us in the future,” Uldrich says.  In his keynote today he will also cover several other potentially disruptive ag technologies that could create a challenging paradox on the farm, and for those who insure those holdings.

Topping off his whirlwind week of keynotes across the US, Uldrich will deliver yet another presentation to Henkel & McCoy in Orlando, FL., on the future of the construction and infrastructure industry, with an emphasis on the concept of unlearning.

Following the Thanksgiving Holiday, he will round out his month of eight events speaking to Watt Water on how the Internet of Things will transform the water industry.
