Jack Uldrich to Present Ten Trends Transforming Tomorrow

Foresight 20/20

Global futurist and best-selling author, Jack Uldrich, is confirmed to deliver a keynote presentation on the top tech trends for the Daly Technology Showcase in Baltimore on Friday, October 28.

Augmented reality, chatbots, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, MOOCs (Massive On-line Open Courses), these are just half of the trends Futurist Jack Uldrich will touch on in his upcoming keynote for the Daly Technology Showcase on Friday in Baltimore.

Uldrich's presentation Foresight 20/20: Ten Trends Transforming Tomorrow is based on his most recent book co-authored with Simon Anderson.

The trends are exciting and scary, positive and negative, prosaic and profound, and they will impact both personal and professional lives around the world.

In Foresight 20/20, professional futurists and business forecasters, Uldrich and Anderson, have developed eleven scenarios highlighting a variety of technological trends that could conceivably transform the world of tomorrow.

"The trends are exciting and scary, positive and negative, prosaic and profound, and they will impact both personal and professional lives around the world," says Uldrich.

He continues, "The forces transforming tomorrow are profound, powerful, and accelerating. The Internet, social networks, crowd-sourcing, gaming dynamics, new information and communication technologies, robotics, biotechnology, and Nanotechnology are all converging to transform everything from agriculture, energy, education, and law enforcement to health care, manufacturing, retail, and transportation."

Uldrich makes his living writing about these topics and speaking internationally to organizations within all those industries. His client list includes The League of Innovation, Emerson Global Exchange, The American Technical Education Association, The University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business, Educational Services of America, ABB, among others.

Quoting Cervantes, Uldrich says "Forewarned, forearmed; to be prepared is half the victory."  Learning about future trends isn't about chasing windmills, it's about mindfully embracing change.
