A Futurist's Insights on Leading Into the Future

Futurist Jack Uldrich

Internationally acclaimed Futurist Jack Uldrich will share his insights at eleven events this month throughout the United States, and in Canada

“Radical shifts are reshaping the world," says futurist Jack Uldrich. "The work I do is all about helping organizations prepare for the coming technological changes so that they can efficiently navigate and determine the course of their future."

This month Uldrich will be doing that for a variety of organizations at eleven events in nine states and Canada. The wide-ranging industries they represent include wealth management, manufacturing, agriculture, auditing, insurance, fuel distribution, and banking.

New advances in technology bring forth exciting discoveries every day. But often lost in this new reality is the fact that organizations must unlearn old, obsolete knowledge and old ways of doing business before they can seize tomorrow's opportunities.

If you want to stay on the right side of the future, the first thing futurist Uldrich advises his clients to do it, "to acknowledge that the future will be different, perhaps radically different than the present."

According to Uldrich, "Thinking like futurists revolves around these basic tenets: understanding the trends transforming the world of tomorrow; taking action in the face of uncertainty; developing an appreciation for humility and embracing the concept that unlearning is as important as learning when it comes to future trends."

He says, "New advances in technology bring forth exciting discoveries every day. But often lost in this new reality is the fact that organizations must unlearn old, obsolete knowledge and old ways of doing business before they can seize tomorrow's opportunities."

Most importantly Uldrich wants his audience members to have an open mind about what the future could hold, and to begin acquiring the tools they need to create the future themselves.
